PROJECT OVERVIEW

BACKGROUND: MEAL IMPORTANT THAN EVER

As people spend more time at home after COVID-19, meals have become an important part of their daily lives, and the number of people who cook for themselves has increased accordingly. For those who used to stop at simply eating a meal, cooking has expanded to become a hobby, a health care dimension, and a kitchen where cooking is an element of the interior.

TARGET: EXPRESSING ‘ME’ BY FOOD

Among those who cook and eat their own meals, the eating style of single households in their 20s shows a slightly different appearance. As cooking shows and mukbangs become more active, this is the easiest way to record daily routines, expressing tastes through food on social media. Or share your own recipes and ideas.

INSIGHT: PASSIVE TO ACTIVE

SOLUTION

Island is a new type of dining that allows single households to enjoy and communicate with 'Cooking Media Life', with the motif of introducing the mood of <Irish's Dining Table> used in homes or TV programs into the space of single households.

Through an island that combines induction, camera, light, and storage functions, single-person households can enjoy meals and cooking through induction parts, shoot through cameras, and enjoy food more aesthetically through lights. do. Finally, space efficiency can be increased through storage.

It has the form of modular furniture that can be placed in the house as an interior element in normal times and moved when necessary. In this way, various arrangements are possible within the space of a single-person household.

The height of the product excluding the light is 700mm, which is the same as that of the existing table, but has a compact size. Selective assembly is possible by inserting the bottom part of the product first. When used as a whole, it has a function as an aesthetic cooking tool, and only the induction and light parts can be separated and used separately, and can be moved and moved without any burden.

1. CAMERA LIGHT

The camera light part is the most essential part of the product, and has a built-in light and camera so that single-person households can enjoy meals in an optimal environment in any space and record/photograph the cooking process aesthetically.

The built-in camera part in the center enables detailed shooting by freely zooming in and out of the cooking process and results.In the case of light parts, the color of the finished food is automatically recognized based on the sensor built into the camera, and the angle and brightness are adjusted to provide the most aesthetic light to the food. You can easily and aesthetically record a series of processes from cooking to eating with just one camera light part without a separate mobile phone or complicated shooting equipment.

2.INDUCTION

Induction parts are a space where users actually cook using fire, and can also be used as an aesthetic plating space.

The brightly colored chamfered glass, which complements the limitations of the existing dark induction plate, removes foreign substances more completely during cleaning to maintain cleanliness for a long time.

You can adjust the temperature of the food by touching the touch controllers attached to the left and right sides of the induction cooker. The temperature is marked according to the type of food being cooked. Warm for simple heating, fry for grilled food, and boil for boiled food.

3. STORAGE

Tools that are not used frequently or do not want to be exposed are stored in the inner storage space under the induction stove, and tools that need to be used constantly during the cooking process are placed in an open space at the front so that they can be used.The double storage space increases the efficiency of cooking and prevents unnecessary utensils from being exposed.

The lower part of the camera light part has a sea-type structure, so it can be connected to the induction part and charged at the same time.
