This is a black and white five photo digital series for foundations of photography. The goal was to find what makes the KC metro area unique, my hometown identity. These photos were taken down in the east crossroads in Art Alley.  After seeing the photos, I discovered something I had not expected to see, there was a very dominate environment theme.  Each photo shows the beauty and destruction that we as humans have done to our planet, but also to our own community as well. In the process of figuring out my hometown identity I found something bigger than myself and that we have made a lot of progress but, there is also so much more work to be done.
