     "The 80's Comeback...."
Fashion photography is devoted to display clothing to catch the eye of the audience and tell a story through the image. Ever since a young age I always loved the idea of fashion and developing your own style to make you feel confident but I never knew how I could I express my passion for it.

Inspiration

Fashion is a beautiful because it adds variety and is a cycle which is why I called this series “The 80’s comeback”; the iconic fashion decade that still is with us today. To help get more inspiration based on 80’s fashion trends I researched many websites, and would go back to some iconic TV shows such as friends, stranger things e.t.c and would pay attention to each of the characters fashion sense. A huge influence on my series was the different VOGUE magazine and “this is glamorous” which discussed fashion in the 80s along with iconic shots of Paulina Porizkova and Yasmin Le Bon. The 80’s era definitely intertwined street style fashion and influenced the idea to use Hailey Bieber when she implemented the Princess Diana fashion legacy in VOGUE Paris while also incorporating inspiration from Princess Diana and her fashion in 1980's.

The Method:

For each outfit I wanted to portray completely different themes to add variety. The process for each image I had to step out of my comfort zone and think outside of the box while also making the outfit a highlight. I learned through this series is to try anything your mind comes to because it may not be your ideal plan but it could end up being your best image.
