SEP's are scientists and engineering practices. They are what scientists do,asking questions then making a claim and designing an investigation to show if the claims are true or false. Asking questions is important to improving your design whether it may be to fix something or upgrade it to a better quality. It's vital to make a claim so that you can get a clear starting point of which problem you would like to work on.Investigation and or testing is important because you're able to see the trial and error  meaning if your claim is true or not you're able to test it and find the best result.  When designing an investigation it’s key that you test one thing at a time at the same height or whatever it may be to get the correct evidence.
