'Mother Courage and her children'- B. Brecht; scene 2.

'Mother courage and her children' is defined as a social and philosophical drama, that questiones moral and ethical values and their meaning.

This task seems similar to the destiny of Sisyphus- hills of sand are being moved from one place to another, but they always remain there- the same is with wars and suffering.

Golden frame is there in order to support Brecht's idea of 'verfremdungseffekt', making a distance between the viewer and the visual aspect of the play, giving stage design the effect of a museum painting, an exhibited piece.
