For this piece, I used Adobe Photoshop to composite a series of images from The Lord of the Rings to create a poster. In photoshop I used layer/ clipping masks to pick out each area I wanted from the individual photos to create the composite I wanted. Afterwards, I used adjustment layers to and filters to balance each of the photos out.
