This is an apartment layout that I created using floorplanner. I designed the island area and made layouts for each room that met the clients needs.
This 2020 design is of a reno-relocation for a kitchen and living room. The client wanted specific elements in the island as well as a modern brilliant white look.
When designing an accessible space certain elements need to be altered within a design. This bathroom is set up to accommodate wheelchair access with a higher floating vanity and support bar. There is also room above the toilet to install a motorized lift if need be.
I have designed a laundry room with varying levels of storage options. There is also room for a hamper, pullout drying rack to drip into the sink and a small hanging rod under the exposed shelves.
Keeping the orange tiles of an existing bathroom, I have incorporated a colourful terrazzo flooring to accent the walls. I brightened the room with cream walls white furniture and wicker accessories to give texture.
