Carcharodontosauridae

Carcharodontosauridae, meaning "shark-toothed lizards", was a group of carnivorous theropod dinosaurs. They include some of the largest land predators ever known: Giganotosaurus, Mapusaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and Tyrannotitan all rivaled or exceeded the famous Tyrannosaurus rex in size. They range throughout the Cretaceous from 127 to 89 million years ago. Fossils of Carcharodontosaurids where found in North
and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
