Decentralized cryptocurrency

Innovating in the real estate segment

Rastaswap is a decentralized cryptocurrency pegged to marijuana assets around the world.

The cryptocurrency proposal is to invest directly in one of the fastest growing markets in the world, especially in the United States and Europe, places where marijuana is legalized in several states.

I was challenged to create a new experience that brought together in the same application the management structure of the crypto broker and credit card, whose limit is directly linked to the user's crypto balance.

The issue and the challenges

Bringing together in the same application the operations of a crypto and credit card brokerage is a great challenge, even more so considering that some features are similar, which can cause confusion for the user.

With that in mind, the first step was to list and design the user experience flow, determining which features would be prioritized and most used, in order to highlight them in their proper categories.

Still, it was necessary to think about how the user could sell their assets and transform them into a balance limit for credit card use.

MVP and Wireframe

For a scoped product that is feature-dense, designing and sifting through what features are essential to creating a minimal viable product for launch is paramount.
Using an impact vs. effort matrix, the app's base structure and the functionality that were required for the first version were drafted, and with it the wireframe and user experience flow.

Below is the first navigable prototype with the flow designed and some features implemented in Adobe XD.
