The brief of this assignment was to design the packaging for a conceptual brand extension of an existing company. I chose to create a portable car charger for the electric model of the 'Fiat 500'.
We also had to name the sub-brand and create a brandmark for it.
I called my product 'Attivo' and I decided to keep the logo mark simple, in line with the Fiat branding which often uses a clean but punchy design style. Taking inspiration from the ‘Fiat 500’ logo, where the '500' is cut through the middle, I played around with cutting through the type. This created a geometric ‘A’, that resembled a triangular road hazard symbol.
