Screenprinted poster " Moire pattern in CMK print"
In Graphic Arts, the term Moire means excessively visible moire pattern.
Moire pattern is a secondary and visually evident superimposed pattern created, for example, when two identical patterns on flat or curved surface are overlaid, while displayed or rotated a small amount
from one another. Printing depends on halftoning to simulate shades of gray, colour and image detail. In four colour process printing, four halftones are overlaid to produce an image. While overlapping two or more halftone grids - it may create moire pattern.
