The Butcher of The Sun:
The Butcher of The Sun, is a project that I was prompted to illustrate. I wanted to create a Indie style mystery thriller book. and Challenged my self too use a very minimal amount of colors.
The tools Used:
Procreate | Paper | Indesign | Adobe Illustrate | Adobe Photoshop | MailChimp
Hardback Mock-ups
Paperback Book Mock-Ups
Process:
During this project I struggled with picking name for the title and how I was going to go about it as a whole. I started using coolgenerator.com as a way to help me create my name for this project. After that I moved on to the Illustration process. I only designed 4 rough sketches because I wanted to make sure that I did not overwhelm my self.
Font Choice: Flood stg: Which I found on Daft.com. I chose a brush font that I thought would work best with this project. Mostly to keep the Indie style of it and because I thought it complemented the the rough-edge design style.
