The concept was to make stickers that were creative and funny. My  objectives were to use similar colors and make it have people think about what they are looking at. I decided to make these stickers be words we usually use but represented in a more literal way. 

With my sketches, I really wanted to have a mermaid in one of my designs. I think they are so beautiful so I thought it would be fun to draw one. There were so many ideas coming to me and so I did my best to draw what I could down. Looking at them more I realized I had a good start but I believed that there was definitely more to come.

My draft post was a continuation of the mermaid idea. As I was receiving feed back on it, I realized I was not in love with it. But I did know that I wanted to do something with mermaids in a way. I remembered being told by a colleague that puns always make good stickers so it sparked me with the idea to do a reverse mermaid.

The end results! A reverse mermaid, butterfly, and a crabapple. I think I reached the objectives because each stickers has at least two colors that another sticker has so they are similar in color and after seeing the responses it was great to see that my stickers made peoples minds take an extra second to think about what they are looking at. I am really proud of these stickers and the reason why I chose the blue color for the offset path/outline is because I believe it unifies them more. I was originally going to use black but then I saw that the eyes on the crabapple disappear when I do that.
