Inspired by the classical visuals of localized folklore of the Indian subcontinent during the 1700's - I was prompted to delve into the world of Sufi poetry and thus design a dust jacket for the infamous 'Heer Ranjha'. 

My process initiated with thoroughly going through folk tales and understanding the context and visual elements of the story. After which, I implemented the most suitable colour schemes along with the integration of Urdu and English typography. Critically focusing on the movement of one's eye to take you on a journey through the limits of the front, back and spine of the book, pulling you into the aged old stories.
