Concept project for
SINBAD - THE SAILOR
Two versions for a book cover using the watercolor technique (with digital finishing).
The idea came from a map of the places where the sailor Simbad made his fantastic journeys: across the seas to East Africa and South Asia in the ancient Middle East.
A little bit of the process:
To better adapt the typography to the art, two types of boxes were created: a papyrus and a wind rose!
