The design of Vela was part of my packaging design class. I designed a label for an alcoholic beverage with the purpose of being a seasonal drink sold during summer time. The colour palette along with the illustration was created to convey a warm and fun feeling just when you are at the beach during summer. 

The theme had to be related with transportation of any kind. I chose boats and beach as my theme since the idea was to convey a summer feeling, that’s why also the illustration contains a little boat sailing in the ocean and the colours connote warmth.
