Diametrics Design is an Interior Design consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In order to capture the brand essence and personality of the firm, we started with the founder's style and company culture. We explored and discussed her favourite stationery brand, her favourite architect, her personal accessories, her favourite designers in fashion and interior design, and lastly, the car she drives to work.

We distilled the brand personality from the mood board to focus on two aspects – Boldness & Warmth. With that in mind, we started sketching and exploring design directions. After many iterations and modifications, we worked with our client to help select the best logo.
Based on 16 letters, we rearranged the alphabets into a diamond shape. Like interior spaces, each of them are carefully positioned, creating a harmony between the visible and the emptiness. From the logo itself, we derived a grid system that acts as a graphic mnemonic to be applied throughout its brand collaterals. We designed the stationery set using the same size logo, graphics and typography to enforce consistency.
