The Journey: An Epic Towards Infinity
I've been working on this story for more than two years. In 2020 I had the opportunity to publish it with Dupuis through the web and app of Webtoon Factory. The Journey is a space travel, a dream; a contemplative experience to relax with the imagination. The narration and the format are mainly visual, where the action and movement flows.
This is the story I dreamed of a woman that travels through an adventure that would free herself from her destiny.
The heroin finds herself in a surrealistic environment and starts to explore. But in the multiverse you can’t control where to go, unless you overcome three challenges. During the adventure she will need to live these three parts that will teach her more about herself and all her potential.

For this project I partnered with Huion, who provided the Kamvas Pro 16 Plus (4K). An incredible digital experience with the best detail and precision thanks to the 4k resolution. The feeling of the surface is fantastic, very close to the experience of drawing on paper. I specially enjoy the fact that the pen is battery free.
It's very light and I can work anywhere I go. Missing a deadline while I'm on a trip won't be a fear anymore. Comes with a portable stand that makes working a better ergonomic experience.
In the story we meet different environmets and characters. In the first part of the story she arrives to a forest where she will meet with a tribe that is inspired in the natives from Latin America, specially the Muiscas (Colombia), but I also took inspiration from the Nazcas, Incas, the Aztecs and Mayas. Here some sketches and fragments of these characters.
