FRONTIER Challenge
When exploring our blue planet, humanity has shown ingenuity and adaptation to tame harsh and unusual environments. We have built many structures there, some for their functionality, and some as an artistic statement. many of these places have been left behind to wither in the elements, while others continue to be developed and thrive.
THE TASK
Integrating architecture into an outlandish scenery belonging to planet Earth such as harsh or unusual environments.
e.g : desert, ice field, underwater, volcanic mountains, etc.
This challenge is the 8th version of D2 challenges and it's 2-weeks long, organized by D2 Conference and judged by D2 Founders and Arqui9 studio.
My entry for the challenge called: "Domiciles of the Frontier", inspired by wilderness and mountain tough nature of the likes Death valley and Atacama desert.
