My life has changed unexpectedly and I found myself standing alone in front of the glass facade, distant from the outside as it’s supposed to be. And the design purpose of this translucent glass is also isolated me from the external environment. This house I located between the courtyard and the private rear garden.  It has a complex program, all spaces are designed for three different types of users: doctor, visiters, and service. The ground floor consists of the doctor’s office, waiting room, secretary, consulting rooms. The first floor has a large salon ‘salle de Sejour’ with double-height where creativity and thoughts come together. The second floor consists of bedrooms and bathrooms overlooking the rear garden. However this sudden change was reflected in our house; the boundaries in the interior have changed, gained new meanings, turned into new uses and there is only me left in. Since we are in a ‘machine house’ moveable parts offer different spatial experiences.
In such a period what we have the most is time maybe more than ever before. We all try to continue our previous lives as much as possible in this process. So we try to integrate our external environment into our new one.  Our daily life, habits, activities, places where we go to eat, to work, to learn, to discover, and more in the outside world find their reflections on the inside. The border between us and the exterior environment sometimes needs to be stretched for our needs. Therefore the ground floor of the house turns into a disinfected area for ‘the boxes’ that come from outside. The rear garden which is a place that communicates most with the outdoor environment gains more importance. The salon on the first floor has become the place where production, thoughts, imagination, new experiences find their reflections. Borders separate what's inside and what's outside. But life outside finds a way to be reflected inside.
