This time the show went on the road. So happy to have some of these in another city.

first stop:

The first brickflat in Barcelona is on a mountain top that was a shanty town. The squatters built houses there with actual bricks.

The little guy is inspired by the fact that traveling was impossible for such a long time in the past 2 years. I installed it on my first trip after COVID lockdown.

It most certainly has the best view of all brickflats; hopefully looking over all of Barcelona brings the little guy some joy from his little cupboard.

"The reader" is located at the Modern Art Museum (MACBA) in Barcelona. Or more precisely in the wall of the library of the MACBA. Just felt topical and made sense there.

This brickflat is next to the nudist beach in Barcelona. I went a bit more abstract with the figurine design ... I think it's my personal favourite design so far.

For the first time since COVID I got to travel to my hometown: Salzburg.

I am so happy I am able to travel again after such a long time - and so is this little guy: stuck in a cupboard, ready to put on his hiking gear.

This little guy is on the steps going up Salzburgs Mönchsberg - just before the Stefan Zweig Centre.

The mountain is also called the "mountain of writers". Former home of Peter Handke and also mentioned a lot by Thomas Bernhard ... as the suicide mountain.

Coming from Thomas Bernhard that's probaly a compliment.

I sure hope this little avid reader enjoys his new historic home.

Maison de Plaisir is Austria's eldest brothel (since 1513).
It is located in the Steingasse. This is my favourite alley in Salzburg; it is full of little historic buildings. Walking through it makes you feel like you are on a movie set.
