This week was the last week of me working on magazine-style advertisements. I decided to do a more modern minimalist style ad, like ones you would see online or on social media. I chose to do Ben and Jerry's ice cream (I was hungry) for my ad, and after a while, I finally found an image with their ice cream that was more than 200x200 pixels. I brought that image in and did a mask over the background and had to play around with the tolerance of the magic wand tool to minimalize the amount of time I would have to use for the mask. After that, I found some images of the Ben and Jerry's logo and brought them into my ad, and centered it over my ice cream. I found some dripping text on dafont.com and used that for my bottom text. I chose dripping font because ice cream melts in summer, and I wanted a summer-style ice cream ad.
