Everytime time a disaster occurs, we always receive news about things that are related to humans. Things such as cities' destruction, life lost or some rescution, not often that we hear about the loss of nature and animals.
Because of that, and the old belief since ancient times, when humans still relied on hunting for food in the forest, they believed that there is a "Forest lord or spirit" who protects those animals from any dangers, including hunting.
The idea of this work happened by using the character of Panaphud, the forest spirit.
In this work, we portray the forest flooding event. Each year, heavy rains occur very often in the forests in many parts of south east Asia.
The animals in our work are those who live in this region, and some almost extinct, or some already did.
"If the forest lord or spirit are real, there could be such an event, just like what we try to present".
