Denver-based philanthropist Scott Reiman maintains involvement in multiple organizations. For years, Scott Reiman and his wife have committed themselves to the success of Children’s Hospital Gala. In 2006, they served as the Gala’s chairpersons.
The Reimans’ efforts on behalf of the Gala benefit the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation Children’s Fund, which helps all patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado and their families. Last year, the fund served more than 186,000 children in Denver and beyond. Donations allow the hospital to provide the highest level of pediatric care regardless of ability to pay. The fund also provides for financial counselors who direct parents to federal and state resources. Then, the fund pays for any expenses that government assistance does not cover.
