The inspiration for this piece came from the song "Call me, call me" by Steve Conte from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. The song is about a man who wants to reconnect whit his old love, eternally waiting for her call.

This artwork is an homage to that kind of relationship, a tangible connection between two people that's made even more powerful by its distance. It's also an homage to old-fashioned telephone wires and their ability to connect people across long distances.
