Project for understanding and artistic activation of the neighborhoods in Bucharest.
Famous streets ( Strazi cu Renume ) is a project initated by Asociatia Antistatic and co-financed by AFCN.You can visit their project here to see and learn more about the famous Romanians after which some streets from Bucharest have been named. Below are five portraits of Romanian personalities that have graced city streets of Bucharest with their names.
Victor Daimaca 1892- 1969 was a Romanian pedagogue and astronomer
Constantin-Sandu Aldea 1874 - 1927 was a Romanian agronomist & writer
Vasile Goldiş 1862 - 1934 was a Romanian politician & member of the Academy
Vasile Burlă 1840 - 1905 was a Romanian philologist & scholar of grammatics
Teodor Dragu 1848 - 1925 was a Romanian engineer, inventor & pioneer of railway engineering
