WILD MISCEGENATION.
This performance artwork was inspired by the violent cultural shock that many immigrants live when arriving in a new country. A Bolivian actress created and acted this project motivated by her own experience when migrating to Argentina.
The work presents a mixture of languages, taking representative elements of the Andean culture and crossing them with the punk culture, generating a powerful contrast. This intersection was addressed through different artistic languages as costume design, music, and audiovisual images.
It was presented in the event Ciclo Migraciones: cómo poner en escena el movimiento migrante? (Migrations: how to put on the stage the migratiory movement?) organized by the Matienzo Cultural Center.
