BAIN'S DISTILLERY
Spatial design
For the third term of the year we were tasked with creating a spatial design building that would function as a manufacturing & learning environment. Some of the key points to adhere to was a 100 m2 size restriction for the floorplan of the building, accommodating anywhere from one to six people. Cladding can be added to the building as you please as long as you have a detailed wall/feature in the design. When moving forward with the project there should be a focus on real world-synthesis and the building should strive to promote toward a smart city of the future.

The direction I chose to go with is whisky distilling as my manufacturing method and the brand I used to design around is Bain’s, an international award winning South African whisky company.
