IADT 2007 Portfolio Book Design

We used the abstract glassworks of Dale Chihuly as the basis for the 2007 IADT Student Portfolio Show book design. The idea arose when the senior Graphic Design students visited the Dale Chihuly installation at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh that year. The organic colorful shapes interact well with the mechanical type treatment, creating a great contrast of shape and visual flow.
