El Dorado Rum is a company steeped in history, being named after the legendary city of gold of the same name. But their packaging lacked the sophistication it deserved. While preserving the iconic ship on their packaging, I used typography and graphics that were reminiscent of old world maps to tie back into their rich heritage.
