It's not about a place, It's about stories.
It is a personal project inspired by the last trip I made throughout South America in 2019 just before the pandemic. A project full of feelings that has allowed me to reconnect with the world, nature, beauty and creativity in the last two years from home.
The idea of this project was to create postcards and reinterpret in an abstract, surreal and colorful way each of the wonderful places and countries that I visited. Each of them is inspired by the photographs I took during my trip, making use of the greatest source of inspiration that is nature, understanding and observing its shapes, textures, colors and the infinite possibilities and interpretations that it can have. Beauty is out there.
Finally these postcards are compiled into a personal travel book where I share beautiful phrases from a book that I read two years after that trip and that gave meaning to what the travel experience means to me as inspiration and connection with the beauty of the world. The book is Walkscapes: walking as an aesthetic practice.
