FACTIONS: BATTLEGROUNDS
MOONSHADOW FACTION
This is the Mishnari of the Moonshadow Faction. Their culture is a combination of the Natives of North America, Moroccans, and vampiric mythology. The Mishnari have built a civilization centered around philosophy and science, while being masters of stealth and assassination.

Prior to creating the illustrations for the cards, the overall aesthetic for the people needed to be cultivated. Above and below are the Mishnari designs.
A minimum of 3 thumbnails were created for each card. These were completed to convey the mood and composition of each image to the client. The preferred thumb chosen or expanded upon for the final illustration.
As an example, the thumbnails above are for the Elite Spearfighter (below), and #5 was chosen.
