KATZEN is a no kill cat sanctuary in Malaysia. For my Final Year Project (FYP) in my Bachelors of Multimedia Design, we were required to contact an existing brand or organization and help them spread out their name with the use of Design. Katzen is not the first name that comes up in people's mind when they think of cat sanctuaries especially in Malaysia. I was inspired by their passion to get off as many cats off the streets as possible since stray cats is a huge issue in Malaysia. I created this introduction video for them to upload on their social media so they can use it as an eye catching introductory video for when they promote it on tours in schools and universities around the country. The project is voiced by one of the founders when I spoke to her in a video call and recorded her passionate voice as she described what the sanctuary stood for. This project was done in Adobe Premiere Pro with some footage that I shot myself while visiting the sanctuary and some that was sent to me as this was during the height of the pandemic.
