Portraits of WWI generals
Left: Maximilian Csicserics von Bacsány (3 March, 1856 – 8 November, 1949) Austrohungarian general and military commander.
Right: Maksimilijan Njegovan (31 October 1858 – 1 July 1930) was an Austro-Hungarian admiral of Croatian descent. He was the Navy's senior administrator as well as its fleet commander in World War I, from 1917 to 1918.
Goal was to recreate portraits from older, small photography onto bigger formats to show the details of portraits. Both portraits have been featured at exhibition “Veliki rat – zaboravljeni rat 1914-2014” in Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia in 2016.
