Women in Digital Initiative (WIDI, 數位女力聯盟) is a Taiwanese NGO advocating female rights on the digital realm founded in July, 2020. The main missions of WIDI are “preventing gender discrimination and violence in all forms of digital technology” and “promoting women’s empowerment in the digital age.”

WIDI’s active members come from various backgrounds, such as education, law and justice, social work and social service, psychology, media, politics, and etc. Each of them can contribute difference knowledges and resources to help women and girls who have experienced sexual assaults and harassments on the internet. By educating the public about the issue of digital violence based on gender, WIDI hopes to prevent and/ or reduce the occurring of sexual exploitation in the digital era.
