A project for my Motion Techniques I class at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
The objective was to focus on type with free reign over what we wanted to design. I personally have a dark and moody style so for this piece I chose to use the beginning of Masochist VIP by Pendulum. To get this feeling of traversing through the jungle with a paranoid state of mind, I wanted to create everything out of cardboard and light it in a very erie style.
All the cardboard elements were hand made by myself along with the cardboard typeface. The elements were then green screened to isolate the images and then brought into after effects for compositing, animating, lighting, and all camera movements.
