Self Portraits for Practice
I was not in a good mood here so I thought I would capture the moment. It was hard to paint in retrospect but once I got the tonal values down, adding the colors was easy.
I didn't have a wacom tablet at the time and I really wanted to draw myself so instead of complaining about not having the latest and greatest digital pen, I painted myself using my mouse. It took less time to do because I learned very quickly how to conserve value blocks.
