BankoMedia was contracted by Halton Healthcare to produce an annual report, including design, photography, and copywriting. My role included art directing photography, design of the annual report and production. The goal was to highlight the amalgamation of three area hospitals into one regional provider: Halton Healthcare. The report was to be informative, emphasize growth and improved patient care, highlight the technological advances within the new system, and have an overall friendly tone. The theme was “Transformation”. The target audience included shareholders, staff and the general public.
Design Solution and Deliverables
A successful 20-page annual report was delivered to the client according to their needs and deadline. The theme of growth and transformation is carried throughout the design through the movement in the photography and the messaging of the copywriting. The final design has a fun and friendly feel due to the use of large blocks of colour, infographics, patient stories and white space.
Deliverables included the printed annual reports, as well as a digital pdf version of the annual report, complete with hyperlinks, for use on their website.
