The original idea was to create the pixel within the lighthouse tower itself, however due to lack of space, this was not possible, therefore the following floorplans are created in the ground level space.

SPATIAL STRATEGIES
The lighthouse pixel, allows the guests to take part in the history of the building, the spaces allow for flow of energy and air, the space is suitable for a family as there is a master bedroom and a second bedroom, the bathroom provides lots of air, light, space the outlook onto the ocean and scenery around the lighthouse. The central focal point is on the tower which is visual straight when entering. The common areas provide space for guests to relax, unwind and gather as a kitchenette is provided and joined dining and living area.

MATERIAL BOARD

The material board, presents a costal theme meeting the history of the structural lighthouse, incorporating coastal and natural themes from the surrounding inspirations. Light linens, stripes, hardwood flooring, warm and smooth shapes, tones and colours, complimenting the space with greenery, greys, woods, rattan and focusing on the main original white brickwork to incorporate the buildings history and personal design.

Throughout the ambience and material boards, it is evident that the original styles, colours and tones dominate the design, soft textures and materials such as linen and cotton, together with an exposed brick and metal industrial style to bring in the history of the lighthouse, featuring the main common areas with focal points inspired by the building such as the marine hanging lights, gold and wood.
