Crossing Cairo is a book about showing our vast city and how we get around it. This journey explores multiple alternatives to move through Cairo, from El Sherouk to 6th of October. As Cairenes, we treat our metropolis as contained and small. It shows uniquely how close the people of Cairo are, yet far at the same time. We cross Cairo everyday without questioning it, turning this into one of the peaks of our relationship wit the city. We took a moment ti observe the beauty and poetry if the details and landscape of this daily commute.
