Laurence 666 N°7 - Ghost stories
Laurence 666 is a collective comic book published by Mauvaise Foi Éditions, based in Lyon, France. Mauvaise Foi is an editorial collective founded in 2012 by Rémy Mattei, Hugo Charpentier, Chloé Fournier and Manuel Lieffroy with whom i shared my very first studio.
For each issue, they collectively create a full story, divided into chapters that are distributed to 20 to 30 graphic artists. The full book is composed of various styles and tones, at the service of the same story.
It's the story of a manuscript, a dead writer, a secret... and a ghostly soul held back on earth by its melancholy in a haunted house. My participation to this issue included the creation of a black and white comic strip of 8 pages.

"spleen on the 2nd floor"
This is an 8-page story about the loneliness of a writer's ghost in the house he haunts. Throughout the story, the house is occupied by different owners. Here he finds himself alone for the first time and faces an anxiety attack similar to a Stendhal syndrome made of visions of the books he didn't have time to write.
