El Mercado Artesanal Turístico Tequisquiapan, un colectivo de artesanos localizado sobre la carretera que lleva a Tequisquiapan Querétaro. y que se dedica a la venta de artesanías, especialmente artesanías tejidas de vara y mimbre, destacando entre ellas la cestería.
El concepto bajo el que se trabajó fue la unión artesanal mexicana, ya que al ser un colectivo todos deben de trabajar en conjunto para mantenerse fuertes frente a todos sus competidores, dicha fuerza está representada por el centro de las canastas ya que son el punto más fuerte y de mayor unión de éstas.
The "Mercado Artesanal Turístico Tequisquiapan" is a traditional mexican arts and crafts market in Tequisquiapan, Queretaro Mexico. The market is formed by a group of artisansmainly specialized in wicker baskets and deco items.
The base concept for the project was the union of the artisans that are part of the collective. Even though they work on their own products, they have to work as a team to maintain the market as strong as they can in front of their competitors. To represent all these, I used the centre of the baskets because this is the strongest point in each piece and where everything comes together.
