HAR HAR HAR Clay
Naming: HAR HAR HAR – It is the representation of a sound. Inspired by a scene from the movie.
"Where the wild things are" is undoubtedly one of my favorite movies, and that is why I wanted to adapt these peculiar characters to this project They are unique pieces, they are a reflection of each of the wild things, giving my home its own character.
The collection: Inspired by Spike Jonze's film adaptation of Maurice Sendak's children's story “Where the Wild Thing Are”, I wanted to replicate those monsters with a melancholic air turned into decorative handmade figures. My adventure in sculpture is in which the characters have peculiar lines that are somewhat grotesque and curious.
The figures: Wild-looking monsters combine human and animal characteristics, they have large claws, pointed teeth, and large eyes, some have horns and others have scales.
