The Samsung Gear VR is a virtual reality headset, and here is my graduation project which is about re-building a new visual identity and advertising items for the product.
When in use The Gear VR, It's totally different than any traditional VR box, so it acts as the headset's display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself acts as the controller, which contains the field of view into a special custom control theatre. That's why I came with the new concept of the visual identity and the campaign abstract artistic direction and the slogan "The Amazing Side | الجانب المُدهش", so the new identity concept focused on the base link of the Virtual reality which is The Eye shape, and the art direction concept of the advertising items focused to the product selling points such as: the special field of view, the controller, and the headset itself quality. After that I presented the whole project into the headset itself in a 360° video, also I linked the virtual reality with the augmented reality and created an interactive AR Filter in Instagram and Facebook which let you interact with the campaign so you can replace the model with yourself.
