Thanks for taking the time to consider me for your sponsorship! Below are a collection of my favorite works from 2020 that were built with a bunch of new tools and techniques that I've been honing over the last 10 years of building scale models.

MG Wing Zero ver. Ka "Nyx" was my biggest project last year and the first piece I finished this year in January. I tried a lot of new things on this like making the starry void on the underside of the wings and distributing gold asymmetrically on the kit.
MG Gundam Barbatos "Synthwave" was an experiment using Turbodork's color changing paint and a test of patience. The entire frame and armor were prepared with 3000 grit sandpaper for a glass smooth surface for all the metallic paint to shine off of. Turbodork's acrylics were challenging to use but I persevered to make it work.
Under a UV lamp, the fluorescent paint comes to life. I had to drill out the piston housings to make sure the rods didn't stick or get damaged while posing the kit.
This MG Wing Zero Proto was a commission project from someone that was a big Gundam Wing fan that wanted a great color accurate rendition of it on his shelf.
He's now in to building gunpla with a backlog of his very own, and the rest of the Gundam Wing MGs accompanying this one.
I tried out shading for the first time on this MG Build Strike Gundam, as well as putting a good amount of effort in to masking off the detail on the Build Booster, hip rifles and vents in the shoulders.
I had intended to make this kit colored like a slightly darker version of the Freedom's colorscheme but decided to roll with how it came out.
HGUC Ez8 for Miniaturite's "Clean Build' contest. The build placed in the top 10!
The exhaust vents on the rifle were drilled out to add extra realism to the build. I custom mixed the blue paint on this and shaded it lightly.
The MG RX-78-2 was my first build getting back in to the hobby in 2020. The kit had been sitting half cut out since 2012. I resolved to complete it and finished this kit in a week, documenting the time it took at my old blog.
I was experimenting with making dioramas and decided to take the gag all the way, making the shield look like a Pop-tart, complete with decorative icing and recreating scenes from Episode One of MSG with a Pop-tart.
My current WIP is the MG Hi-Nu ver. Ka with the Fortune Meow's conversion kit. This my first resin kit in a decade, and my first time using metal aftermarket parts on a kit.
I'm completely hooked on resin kits now, with six more in my backlog and a long list of other resin kits I want to build and paint. I can't wait to take everything I've learned from this build and apply it to my next build, whatever that may be!
I post updates to most social media sites.
