Donut Cutter for PET bottle / 2021

There are two separate discharges of PET bottles for recycling. One is to remove the HDPE-based bottle cap and the neck ring that secures the bottle cap, and the other is to remove the plastic packaging on the surface. It is difficult to remove by hand and requires a small, sharp hook-like tool, and a donut cutter can help a lot with easy removal for recycling with little effort. In fact, the cutter material is also designed with a grip and a unique marbling pattern using HDPE recycled from PET bottle caps. This project was designed with production support from Incheon City, which is investing the most in the citizen recycling project, and the production was handled by Lowlit Collective.
