Have you ever come upon a DUI checkpoint and asked yourself what happened to your freedoms? I wanted to make a photomosaic that might elicit such questions. For the main pictures, I used Andy Griffith, the lovable cop from TV. Composing the pictures are hundreds of pictures of DUI checkpoints, handcuffs, court houses, jails, and militarized police.
