DESIGNING THE PROCESS
Since I can remember myself - I have always been drawn to technical sports apparel. Over the years this excitement naturally evolved into one of my biggest inspirations for my design projects. If we grind it down to the basics - sportswear is born out of a necessity to support our body in motion. A very simple idea, but when you add an aspect of various activities, dynamic disciplines, environments & weather conditions - it becomes more challenging to implement all of these aspects into one single product.
In my personal work - I love to fuse sportswear concepts with 3D software's. This combination is the leading force in my projects & it fuels my imagination to look beyond the obvious. As I create, I simply love to follow my curiosity by combining unusual sources of inspiration. Ideas that over time develop into more advanced & distinctive concepts like this one. Often, in the design process, I like to ask myself - What if I have all the freedom in the world, without any restrictions or limitations - What would I create? What is the ultimate version of my ideas? How far would I challenge myself? The answers to this are only found in the creation process. And this is for me the beauty of each designer's journey.
Here I am exploring a territory, where sports performance meets contemporary aesthetics. A radical mix of sports performance, outdoor utility & ergonomic design language. Because everything is in a fully digital environment - I can have a lot of freedom in my explorations.
When nothing is real, everything is possible! And when everything is possible - It becomes more exciting to do complex and intricate things. And this is for me the beauty of working in a fully digital environment with 3D software's.

In my personal projects, I simply love to follow my curiosity by combining unusual sources of inspiration. My design process takes time, patience and focus. Learning the latest digital tools is a key to my creative growth. Since 3D-Technology is rapidly expanding & changing so quickly - this learning process results in a never ending journey...
Often, I like to look back at my previous projects and crystallize the GOOD and the BAD. As one of my favorite artists said - If you are not your own severest critic, you are your own worst enemy! With each new project, my goal is simple - To identify my personal creative expression and to search for distinctive design aesthetics in my work.
