These two bunnies illustrations were inspired by two flowers: magnolias and bluebells.

First we have the sketches: 

For colouring them, I wanted to have a subtle and pastel colour palette, without high contrasting colours. For the magnolia one, the colours are warmer and for the bluebell one, the colours are slightly colder. I always like to match more yellowy greens (that are basically almost yellow) with coral shades of pink. For the bluebell one, since the colours are colder - and I'm mainly used to using warmer colours on my personal projects - I had to spend a long time figuring out which were the perfect shades.

At the end, I ended up going for a more desaturated shade of green. The background is also less yellow than the magnolia one, meaning it goes better with the colder undertones of the overall picture.
