Pax Politica is a digital storytelling initiative that focuses on humanizing voices of peace, social justice and human rights. Their core belief stems from the idea that, a powerful human perspective needs to be provided to all our viewers, that helps them situate and embed themselves in the stories that we share. In essence a basic, primal appeal to the underlying humanity that all of us share.
I began referencing the idea of looking and how that informs a sense of reality of us. Two mediums which inform us quite heavily of our world are the written word and the visual image. Thus by investigating the nature of these tools, a simple yet powerful visual language was developed for conveying the idea of what Pax Politica is about.
